    25th July: National Schools Tree Day


    August

    4th August: National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day

    4th & 6th August: Indigenous cultural incursions (Kindy groups only)

    3rd - 9th August: ‘Dental Health Week’

    15th – 23rd August: Science Week. Theme: ‘Seeds of science: Nurturing knowledge for all’.

    17th – 21st August: Kindy Photos week

    22nd – 28th August: Children’s Book Week ‘Symphony of Stories’

    25th & 27th August: Ocean Life visits (all groups)


    September

    31st August – 4th September: Daddy Drop Off week: Celebration of Fathers & significant father figures

    6th - 12th September: National Child Protection Week. Theme: ‘Every Conversation Matters: Shifting Conversation to Action’

    Kindy excursions: dates to be advised.

    15th September: End of term 3 for Junior Kindy & Cassia A groups

    18th September: End of term 3 for Callistemon B & Cassia B groups.


    NB: Each Kindergarten group will engage in learning experiences centred on these days as close as possible to the actual date that is listed above.
